GLOCAL Missions
This church is committed to shining the light of the world into all the world, both local and global. Our Community Outreach and
Global Outreach (GO) ministries work hand in hand to reach out around the world. Global Outreach focuses on works beyond our
local area -- both domestic and international. Community Outreach reaches out with hope and love in McAlester and the
surrounding community, to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
The Community Outreach ministry touches lives locally with the glorious light of the gospel of Christ. This is done by providing
physical, emotional, and spiritual support to members, visitors, and other ministries. The Community Outreach ministry contacts
visitors, newcomers, new members, and people in the community who have been touched by our ministries, and seeks to meet the
spiritual needs of our community in a variety of ways -- providing Bible study resources, personal and family counseling, and
spiritual counseling.
To help shine the Light of the World into all the world, Global Outreach ministry works with a number of ministries around the world.
A major part of our Global Outreach, as suggested by the name, is that members of this church GO into all the world to share the
gospel. Members have gone to Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Ecuador, and Columbia in recent years.
Our minister plays a major role in our global missions outreach, making multiple missions trips each year. You can learn more
